Never try to fix this

its a cheap kit lens that I ordered a part for and tried to fix myself in the proposed fix time, precision equipment needs to go back together the same way, I got it 99% but that 1 percent means the focus is off, and in the process I broke the power supply wire, good thing is you can still use it in manual mode, which I have since it broke one month after I got it, after allot of research I found thousand of cases where the focus wire had snapped which was the original problem with mine, in future I will leave it up to the pros, if I got it fixed in Taiwan it would have cost me 600nt (about 20 US)
I might still try to get that done, see how I go I could probably sell this thing second hand for the cost of fixing it....

As for updates, plenty, I have a few things to finalize and anguish over the final details, I would have had something to show if I did not spend Sunday night trying to fix a factory faulted cheap kit lens, well cross that off my list of things to try before I leave the planet ;)
