Taiwan - Being back and things in general

We are currently back in Taiwan, we are also both working at the moment, we have noticed life quality degrade a little compared to last time, as far as Jo's sector she has seen major cuts in social workers all over Taiwan. As a result we will only stay one year and return to Australia to our place there.

Life is good here, we are in a nice place and Sam is getting plenty of variety in day to day activities as we hoped for.

We will be working more than we hoped for but its temporary until January 2019 when we will break out of this current lifestyle.

I'll try to post some rough work here, I am making a habit of spending a little each day dedicated to my passion projects.

BACK
Well I have been busy, had a kid and bought a house doing a lot of back-end work so to speak, I was teaching for a few years getting paid more than I did in industry which is kind of funny and scary.

I plan to have more updates, putting a few things out in the next few months then I am back living in Taiwan for maybe a couple years or more (or at least that's the plan at this stage)

I'll leave you with this rough pitch I had** and I will be doing a few more pieces that relate to other artists to gain momentum before my online release of my film, been a long time coming, but I have had allot on my plate in the last few years, all good indeed.

On the burner

Ok still plugging away, my current job is keeping me busy, ill breakdown further in the not too distant future, still on track at the moment, have many things going on, need to get a trailer done for Robot Rescue, seeing as its mostly done and just needs polishing. also have a pilot in the works and retraining with registered training organisations of sorts and personnel training I am taking on myself. Busy but in a good way.

I'll try to check in more often.

Finally Done...

Well the film was done last year and I left it on the shelf to go travel Europe and come back and settle in Sydney.

Sydney.. for that matter is a great city but is pricey as F##k! when it comes to housing, it really put a damper on everything its crazy, we do not have this problem in Taiwan and may even buy property not to far down the track in Taiwan, Australia is crazy right now and kinda scary with the current government and their quest to screw everyone who was not born with a gold bar shoved up their ass.....

So.. I get back to polishing off the film and getting ready to submitting it to festivals, some minor changes to lighting , particle effects and slight story and animation enhancements, its now done, it feels good to have it done and now it will take on a life of its own out there, which is also great.

Whats next, well I went to great lengths to discuss how over inflated the basics have become in Sydney and I am here to work of course and I do have work in the industry for the time being as well as retraining, taking on new skills in the realm of software development.
On top of that keeping a balanced lifestyle I want to enjoy my time and continue to do so, Sydney is providing that for us now. But the shitty rental situation and cuts to education might sway us in the direction of Taiwan.

I will continue to update this blog again in the not too distant future, but I fear this too might be an outdated platform.
