I have been stewing over this for a while, after noting that I just missed a chance to visit Bruce Lee's grave in Seattle, (however was not on my list-"This time" ;)
I was working in a Kitchen back in 2002 and was good friends with a Chef who happened to know George Lazenby in person and he told me George had decked out his garage as a themed "James Bond Lair".
George would be most famous for his portrayal as the 2nd actor to play James Bond, after Connery and the only non UK actor to do so as well.
At the place where I was working happened to be very close to Queanbeyan, where George was born and continues to live out his later life.
The other topic covered was George's connection to Bruce Lee and the his role in the incomplete film as the main villain in - Game Of Death.
At the time of Bruce's death the opportunity lost by George to star along side one of the greatest screen actors of all time was a big blow, and George was one of the last people to see Bruce alive* MUST SEE MIDDLE VIDEO, however what was born was an Australian/Hong Kong film called -The Man From Hong Kong* which had the famous - Sky High theme song by Jigsaw*
Note: only a decade ago a large portion of missing footage from Game of Death was found in Australia and was put into a documentary about Bruce's life and myth and legend, to this day allot of myth surrounds Bruce as well as pain of loosing a true legend who changed the way martial arts was carried out in the west by a large part a least.
Anyway that was my "six degrees of separation" of how I could be connected in some particular way back to Bruce himself, and I'm not a Bruce Lee fanatic, I swear I'm not! ;)
